Please read the instructions below before filling out the form.
Eligibility: Minimum 3.5 GPA and must have received a grade of “A” or "A-" in the course(s) you are applying for.
UG-SA positions will be offered based on the course needs, applicant information provided, and on a first-come first-served basis.
Undergraduate students who want to apply for an UG-SA position should fill out the form and indicate their preference for Credit or Pay or Either, and their preference for the classes they want to assist with (1st = most preferred).
Options for SA Hours/Week:
NOTES: UG-SA's duties depend on the nature of the class and instructor's preference
• UG-SA is generally expected to help for the lab sessions if lab is part of the course.
 
• UG-SA is generally not required to attend the lectures, but some (e.g., ENGR-2350, ECSE-1010, ECSE-2660) need SA’s assistance during the “lectures”.
 
• UG-SA is expected to offer office hours and if available to help in the evening REC hours.
 
• UG-SA may work completely online, depending on the nature of the class and the instructor's preference.
 
• You may contact the instructor for specific UG-SA duties and expectation.
