Mitch Ball RESP
On May 1, 2021 our dear friend and respected colleague, Mitch Ball, passed away due to complications arising from a COVID infection leaving behind his wife Jana and 6 children. The Provincial Umpire Committee of Baseball Alberta proposes to establish a Registered Educational Savings Plan support Mitch and Jana’s eligible children to pursue their educational goals after high school.

We see this as a way to support Mitch’s family and honor his memory in a specific way that will have a lasting impact. We invite all members of the baseball community in Alberta, and indeed from across Canada, to participate in this endeavour. We also invite officials from Mitch’s other sports officiating communities to join with us in this endeavour.
