The Tech Desk is a non-profit organization founded by three Stanford computer science graduates from Portland who wanted to give back to their community by helping local businesses, especially those disproportionately affected during the time of COVID-19, increase their online presence.

We exist to empower entrepreneurs to focus on what matters most: growing their business. Having a good online presence has no shortage of benefits to a business, including increasing discoverability and decreasing logistical communication with customers.

As a volunteer, you will partner directly with entrepreneurs, developing business plans and building websites that support scheduling, selling products, and more.

You will use self-serve tools such as Squarespace, so no coding or volunteer experience is necessary!

Your partnership supports businesses in increasing reach and revenue, and allows them to decrease coordination and logistics, therefore providing entrepreneurs with more of their most valuable resource: time.
