Fine Arts Education Day 2025 includes plans for both VIRTUAL and LIVE components. MAAE will have a presence in the Capitol Rotunda throughout the day, which will include presentation of recorded performances from across the state. Complete and submit this form if you would like to have your individual student, ensemble, or performing group included in the VIRTUAL presentation for the Fine Arts Education Day (Wednesday, April 9, 2025) at the State Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri.
You may also complete the Performance Application if you would like to do a LIVE performance for Fine Arts Education Day. DEADLINE FOR FORM and VIDEO SUBMISSION is February 15, 2025.
GUIDELINES: Individual student or small ensemble submissions should be less than 5 minutes in length.
Large ensemble performing groups may submit performances of 5 to 10 minutes in length.
Display - visual art displays, lighting designs, costume design, set design, etc. Video or powerpoint NO AUDIO. Limit to 5 minutes maximum.
Teacher/Learning Activities: video or still photos of students engaged in creative process or learning activities. (limit 5 minutes maximum)
Videos should be submitted in mp4 format. All videos should include a banner at the bottom with details on the performance (work performed, performers, school, date of recording, etc). If you do not have the technical skills required to do this it can be added after submission.

In addition, links to these recorded performances will be shared with legislators who represent the performers.
