The CSULB Department of Cinematic Arts Post-Production Open Lab is located in University Telecommunications Center Room 210 (UTC-210).

The newly-renovated Foley Recording (UTC-222/222A/222B) and Mixing Suite (UTC-217/219) will open in March 2024.

The Mixing Suite (UTC-217/219) is temporarily set up and will be available on Tuesday, 12 March 2024 for FEA 320 and the advanced sound special topics course. You must place your reservation request 48 hours in advance and it will require instructor approval as well (we will contact your instructor via email).

The Foley Recording complex (UTC-222/222A/222B) will also have a temporary setup and is scheduled to open on Tuesday 19 March 2024. While it will be available for all sound courses, reservation policies will be identical to the mixing suite otherwise.

We will codify policies regarding the sound suites and will post them here.

Open Lab and Sound Suite hours are Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Be advised that reservations are scheduled to the closest half-hour.

Minimum reservation is one hour; maximum is four hours.
