our rain date,
Sunday, March 24th* from 12:00pm-1:30pm at the
Washington Youth Garden to jump-start the spring growing season in your school garden!
Current Educator Coaching Program schools arrive at 11:00am for cohort support and community building.
- Free supplies to prepare your garden for the upcoming season including straw mulch, compost, spring crop seeds (from Share-A-Seed) and cover crop seeds**, and spring seedlings (kale, collards, tatsoi, chard, strawberry starts)**
- Training at 11am on spring / summer school garden planning and preparing garden beds for spring planting (direct sowing / transplanting)
- Network with your fellow educators from across D.C.
