Annual Cemetery Preservation
The Saint Joseph's campus sits on land rich with history from the Pequawket peoples who hunted and fished along the shores of Sebago Lake, to land owners with connections to George Washington, to the Verrill family and, eventually, to the Sisters of Mercy.  Two places where this history is evident are the cemeteries on our property. The families buried in these cemeteries have longstanding ties to the region: the Shaws and the Blakes.  Saint Joseph's maintains them, and our facilities staff need 1 or 2 hours of your time to clean them up.

Added bonuses are brief history lessons on the Blakes and the Shaws, and free lunch will be provided in Pearson's Cafe afterward.
