Application process for Lifeguard closes on March 30, 2023
Fairfield Fairfield Crest (FFC) Swim Club is looking for qualified candidates in a number of positions to join our team during the summer of 2023.
Age Requirements for Employment
To work as: You must be at least:
Manager ...................................20 years old by May 26, 2023
Assistant Manager...................18 years old by May 26, 2023
Lifeguard ..................................15 years old by May 26, 2023
Head Swim Coach ...................18 years old by May 26, 2023
Asst. Swim Coach ................... 16 years old by May 26, 2023
Developmental Coach ............. 15 years old by May 26, 2023
And you must meet the following criteria:
☼ All candidates must have Lifeguard Certification prior to May 25, 2023. (Red Cross or Ellis/YMCA acceptable).
☼ Coach candidates should be able to work during swim team sign-ups in early April and attend a training session in early spring.
☼ Managers & lifeguards should have availability to attend one Pool Work Party date (April-early May timeframe), help prepare pool during last two weeks of May, attend a spring training session, and help to close the pool in early September.
Vacation / Time Off Scheduling
• All time off will be granted at the discretion of Pool Manager & Pool Board.
• ALL requests for time off longer than two days to occur during swim team season MUST be submitted AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.
• All final requests for time off for periods longer than two days must be submitted to the Board prior to interview.
• Requests for time off during the swim team season will impact the interview committee’s decisions regarding employment.
• No more than one week off at any time will be guaranteed for any employee.
• No more than two weeks off total will be guaranteed for any employee.
