2025 Flags for the Fallen Volunteer Sign-up Form & Waiver

Join the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in honoring the 26,000 airmen of the Eighth Air Force who never returned home  with Flags for the Fallen: 26,000 Flags | One Mission

Volunteers are needed to help place 26,000 48-star American flags on Wednesday, May 21, (rain date: Thursday, May 22) and to assist with flag removal on Tuesday, May 27.

This powerful memorial flag garden will be open to the public from May 23 through Memorial Day, May 26, 2025. Each flag represents an airman who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II, serving under this very flag.
