Monthly open trainings where community members (18+ yo) can join RLT members in theatrical training!

On the second Sunday of each month, RLT company members gather for a regular ensemble training session, only now, community members are invited to join us!

We are a theater ensemble that works with a variety of different methodologies, including but not limited to the rigorous physical exercises of Tadashi Suzuki, the Viewpoints of both Anne Bogart and Mary Overlie, the vocal techniques of Kristin Linklater and Patsy Rodenburg, the psycho-physical technique of Michael Chekhov, the foundational principles of Stanislavski, the elements work of Jacques Lecoq, and other diverse systems of movement and expression including yoga, choral singing, dance, etc.

Each Open Training is led by members of the company and we occasionally invite guest artists to share too - check out our website for past guest instructors and any upcoming guests we have scheduled.

Space is limited! You must email ahead of time to reserve a spot. Please do not arrive at the training without confirming with us beforehand.

Things to know:
 
-We hold training from 12:30-2:30pm every second Sunday. Location:(disclosed upon successful registration)

-Comfortable clothes to move in and socks necessary.

-We always hope folks can stay for the entirety of the training and understand that that is not always possible. Please do let us know if you'll need to miss any portion of the training.

-Cost to participate is a sliding scale of $5-$25. Cash, checks, and cards accepted. (Checks can be made out to Real Live Theatre.)

-While each training will be offered as a stand alone session, the more you come, the more we can build on skills and develop common language.
