FRC 3473: Team Sprocket            XYZ PRINTING Resin 3D Printer Grant 
FRC 3473:Team Sprocket is excited to announce a 3D Printer Grant exclusive to SoCal FIRST teams. In partnership with our team sponsor, XYZ Printing,  we will be distributing 100 small format resin 3D printers, including  supplies of resin (pack valued at approx $400 ), to FTC and FRC teams. 

This application will be will be due by 11:59 PM on November 3rd, 2023.

In order to be eligible to receive this grant, applicants must be able to satisfy the following requirements:
  1. Be a Southern California FIRST Team (FTC and FRC) that is able to pick up the 3D printer at Diamond Bar High School (home of Team Sprocket) before the end of October.  Details of available pickup times will be shared with grant recipients.  We do not have the capacity to support shipping these materials.
  2. Teams must be affiliated with a nonprofit organization 501(c)3, school or an educational group. If your team is selected, we will require your W9 or individual tax ID number. All information supplied in the application survey will be subject to verification.
  3. As resin printers require safe handling of resin, teams agree to follow appropriate safety standards and review training materials to ensure the safe handling and appropriate use of supplied materials (resources will be provided by Team Sprocket to support this effort).
  4. Teams recognize the need to purchase supplementary equipment (ie. Latex Gloves, Resin Curing Device or UV Box, etc). 
  5. Teams agree to use their 3D printer within a 6 month time, and submit images of usage to their social media and/or Team Sprocket.  We want to “Make it Loud” and share the impact of your efforts with our donation sponsor, XYZ Printing.
While we have a limited number of machines to distribute at this time, we are working with our sponsor to ensure that as additional machines become available, we will work to put them in the hands of as many teams as possible.
