UPDATE: We are no longer accepting proposals!
Hello Hubs developer community! As you know, Community Edition launched on October 16, 2023 as a new solution for developers to self-host the Hubs codebase using Kubernetes. Community Edition aims to be platform-agnostic and capable of running on any cloud hosting solution, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Digital Ocean, and more. The Hubs team will work to document as many hosting methods as we can, however, we are looking for help from developers (LIKE YOU) to produce community-facing documentation.
Documentation Proposals
We hope for the Community Edition documentation to be produced in the months leading up to January 1st, 2024, and for them to match the level of detail in our Hubs Cloud documentation. We are accepting proposals for developers in our community to create Hubs Creator Labs walkthroughs and video tutorials, to help other developers successfully deploy Community Edition to their preferred platform. Some developers may also draft a post for our Creator Labs blog. Here’s an example of the type of documentation we’re looking for.
We will offer one-time awards of $500-10,000 (USD) to those developers whose proposals are selected. If you can help us create this content, use the form below to submit your proposal. Award amounts will be based on content creators’ reach and experience, and the quality of their past content.
Award Process
After completing this form, we will reach out to you via email to let you know whether your proposal is being considered, and if so, what amount we will offer for your proposed documentation. Those who are selected will receive half of the award upfront, and half upon delivery of the proposed documentation.
