International Conference - Addressing Youth Unemployment through Innovative Educational Practices in Eastern Partnership countries
This conference aims to discuss how best to address youth unemployment in Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine by bringing together active young people from communities other than the capitals, representatives of civil society organizations, local and state authorities responsible for the fields of education, labour and youth. Together with representatives of governmental authorities we will discuss the programmes in 3 countries aimed at facilitating the employment of young people at risk, from rural and remote areas. We will debate over the relevance of educational support and environment from different state institutions, NGOs and European programmes.
The conference is a result of the EU-funded project “EMPLO(YOU!)TH” - aimed at strengthening the employability competences of 225 young people from rural and urban areas outside the capitals of Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine in order to search for jobs on the local labor markets.
The event will be held in English.
