Moving the needle on sustainability in New Jersey takes a village! Sustainable Jersey for Schools is made possible through the support of volunteers to serve on task forces that develop and refine action guidance, review certification action submissions and serve on grant application review committees. Task Force Member- Attend task force meetings ( as needed- up to 4 times per year) related to your area of experience or expertise. Provide collaborative input to improve existing action guidance and develop new action guidance.

Action Submission Reviewer- Three times per year (Feb-Aug), approve and provide helpful feedback to applicants via our online certification platform on an action area related to your area of expertise

Blue Ribbon Grant Review Panelist- Serve on one of two annual grant review panels. Requires ability to review digital submissions via our online grants portal and attend one in-person review panel meeting.

Resource Provider- Help Sustainable Jersey for Schools stay current. Provide updated resource links related to SJS actions, collaborate on training and professional development programs for schools
