The Study of life quality and distance learning during the COVID19 pandemic from the perspective of University students: a comparison of the Republic of Croatia and surrounding countries
Dear colleagues,

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this important study. The aim of the research is to get an insight into the situation and conditions of your studies and your satisfaction levels considering distance learning as well as the quality of your living conditions at the time of the coronavirus pandemic.

The research is conducted within all Universities among the Republic of Croatia and neighboring countries and though is completely anonymous and voluntary.
Any of your honest answers are welcome and the results will be presented publicly. The questionnaire consists of 34 questions which are divided into two categories: DISTANCE LEARNING and QUALITY OF LIVING CONDITIONS.

Distance learning is well known to me and I was using it even before the coronavirus pandemic.
I first encountered distance learning after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and the decision of the civil protection bodies to discontinue contact teaching.
Distance learning makes it easier for me to study and fulfill student obligations.
The teaching process is held online with the live presence of professors and students.
Subject contents of distance learning are more demanding compared to contact teaching, which results in a larger amount of tasks and homework that I have to do.
I my opinion, distance learning at other universities/faculties is better organized than at my university/faculty.
Responsible bodies and services acted in a timely manner and organized schooling in an online form in order for the teaching process to continue smoothly.
Distance teaching diminishes the quality and competencies I am to acquire through higher education.

I received instructions and clarifications from my institution for using the LMS platform for distance learning.

Living conditions are difficult for me due to the situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
