Over the course of the past 20 years, Rev. Shannon Keith Powell and his family have been serving the Lord as missionaries with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After working all throughout Greater Charlotte during these last two decades, his ministry focus is now centered on the campus of Wingate University.
In order for ministry with FCA to operate efficiently, funding must be developed through partners (friends, family, businesses, etc.) who see and catch the vision of what the Lord is doing. FCA relies on the generous donations (tax-deductible) to sustain ministry efforts.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Shannon will be hosting a fundraising event called,
The Chainbreaker.
This will be a solo bicycle ride which will invite new, as well as established, partners to join in financially sponsoring this effort per mile. Shannon’s intent is to ride from Monroe, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC (approx. 170 miles) in a single day!
