Summer School Sign Up
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

We are offering a summer session at MCHS.

DATES:     May 31 - June 17 (14 days)
TIME:        8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Every Day M-F)

PLEASE NOTE:  Attendance is required each day.  There will be no absences permitted or student will not receive credit.  So please make sure if you sign up for this credit recovery summer school option, you are committed for the entire 14 days.

Students may sign up for one of the following options:

APEX - Virtual Lab credit recovery; All courses other than English

SELECT - continue with coursework or makeup course work

English 9, 10, 11, 12

Summer Credit Earning Courses available are as follows:

Summer Band

Summer SAE for Agriculture students are also available.  

BAND and SAE will be coordinated with the teacher.

FAQ's
Q:  How many credits can I recover during summer school?
A:  2 - this is a face-to-face intense summer school session taught by a teacher

Q:  Can I recover one credit and sign up for credit earning SAE and/or Summer Band?
A:  Yes you can do the 14 days summer school for 1 credit and work with the SAE teacher and/or Summer Band teacher to take those courses as well.

Q:  What happens if I go on vacation during the summer school times?
A:  You will not receive credit, and therefore will still need to recover the course.  Do not sign up if you plan on missing any times from June 1 to June 17.

Q:  What if I only need to recover Semester 1 or Semester 2 of a full year course?
A:  Fill out the form, and counselors will work with you on the dates you will need to attend summer school.
