Thank you for helping the Deschutes Land Trust improve monarch butterfly and pollinator habitat in Central Oregon! Central Oregon is a historic breeding ground for Western monarchs and planting native milkweed provides the habitat they need to survive.

We are currently distributing showy milkweed (Asclepias speciosa). This is a variety native to Central Oregon. If you are NOT planting in Central Oregon, please contact your local nursery to find milkweed native to your area. Please also note that milkweed contains toxins that can be harmful to pets, livestock, and other people, if ingested.
