In 1881 Chicago, 16-year old Emma Evans is restless and bored, working at her family bakery.  

She sees the delivery boys having adventures and convinces her Papa to let work on the delivery wagons dressed as a boy.  

Her adventures begin and soon she is involved in cases ranging from robbery to murder.  

She utilizes her skills with knives and self-defense to find her way through.
