The JSHeroes Bootcamp is a one-day learning event, where people can develop their coding skills in a practical workshop guided by a mentor. The format is inspired from nodeschool, where 3-4 people are assigned to a mentor and work individually on a small project.

In our new Bootcamp format, we will have 3 tracks of increasing complexity, so we're dividing people based on their prior experience. However, the target group mostly consists of beginners, so being a mentor neither requires seniority, nor prior experience mentoring people, just the desire to share knowledge and help others. Those of you who mentored at our previous nodeschool events can expect similar vibes.

We will work on a common set of materials/boilerplates, with a few twists for each track and we will have similar goals for each group. Mentors will be invited to a chat group ahead of the event, to settle all the details about the tracks on which they will help people and on the materials they will work on.

The event will take place Saturday, the 19th of November, at the Evozon office, in Cluj-Napoca. Food and drinks will be provided by the JSHeroes community and attendance is free of charge.
