Terms & Conditions
  1. This program is open to all working adults aged 18 years old and above only. Minors (below 18 years old) are not allowed to join the CSR program.
  2. The CSR Program can be conducted any day except Thursdays.
  3. There is a limit of 30 participants per package. Only CSR participants can enter the zoo area using the capacity of the project. If the number of attendees exceeds the maximum number of participants, the remaining attendees will need to purchase entrance tickets at full price and enter as normal visitors and are not allowed to participate in CSR.
  4. If the number of participants exceeds the limit per package, participants will need to purchase an additional package to accommodate the extra participants.
  5. The package for each project includes buns and mineral waters, tools for CSR activities including gloves, racks, brooms, tree saplings, paints and brushes, etc. A certificate will be given for each project as a token of appreciation from Zoo Negara.
  6. The tentative program is subject to change according to Zoo Negara’s personnel. Participants are expected to arrive no later than 7.30 am and latecomers will not be entertained.
  7. Parking is open at 7:30 am via Gate 1. Fee of RM10.00 per entry per vehicle.
  8. Lockers are provided to keep personal belongings for RM2.00 per unit.
  9. Work might not be given according to the participant's preference. Participants are also not allowed to change working areas during the CSR program for biosecurity control. It is important that participants are healthy when joining this program in order to avoid any risk of transmitting diseases to animals or others. Placement of CSR location, task and distribution is completely subject to Zoo Negara’s personnel. All CSR activities are subject to change without prior notice.
  10. All payments must be made two (2) weeks prior to the date of CSR activity. Please note that if payment is not settled in the zoo account two (2) weeks before the event date, the program date will be postponed or cancelled.
  11. The participant must wear proper attire while on duty which includes covered shoes and long trousers. Open-toe shoes, shorts, jewellery and sleeveless tops are NOT allowed. Long hair must be tied neatly.
  12. A bun and mineral water will be provided for each participant. The participant is NOT allowed to bring outside food and drinks (inclusive of mineral water). For F&B bookings, please contact The Wild Restaurant at 019-326 0905.
  13. The participant is required to wear the CSR sticker provided at all times while on site.
  14. The participant is NOT allowed to record any pictures or videos of the captive animals, the indoor cage or the animals' night quarters.
  15. The participant must never touch, handle or feed the animals at any time for any reason without permission from the Zoology Personnel.
  16. The participant must never enter any enclosure with the animals without permission from the Zoology Officer or Supervisor and they are NOT allowed to remain on the zoo premises after working hours.
  17. The participant must immediately notify Zoo Negara's personnel if any accidents or mishaps happen while on site. The participant must NOT interfere with the Management of Zoo Negara Malaysia.
  18. The participant is fully responsible for their own belongings, health and safety. The Management of Zoo Negara Malaysia and its personnel will NOT be held responsible for any accidents, losses, claims, damage or injuries to the participant or personal property.
  19. The Management of Zoo Negara Malaysia reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notification or giving any reasons.
  20. The Person in Charge (PIC) must understand these terms and conditions, complete the form and submit this form before quotation and invoice issuance. Please be advised that all information in this form is considered final. PIC also need to brief all participants about this Term and Conditions before the CSR program.
