HandWritten Massage and Wellness believes that wellness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. That's why we are excited to present our wellness plan, "Healing Hands," designed to bring the transformative power of massage therapy to deserving members, especially those of the black/brown community.


Every fourth Wednesday of the month, HandWritten Wellness will be offering a free wellness massage to a deserving individual. We invite sponsors to submit a one to two paragraph response explaining why their nominee deserves and can benefit benefit from this revitalizing experience. Sponsors contribute to creating a supportive and compassionate environment, while submissions will help us identify individuals who have demonstrated resilience, faced challenges, or made significant contributions to their community. We want to give back to those who have selflessly given to others and may need help giving to themselves. Submissions will be carefully reviewed to select a deserving candidate. Sponsors are allowed to submit multiple nominees and are allowed to make up to 5 monthly submissions. Any nominations that are not selected will automatically roll over to the following month's selection process. This means that your thoughtful nomination will continue to be considered for the opportunity to provide a deserving black or brown community member with a free wellness massage.

In addition to the satisfaction of supporting an individual in need, sponsors also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to receive a free service. This added benefit serves to acknowledge sponsors' generosity and commitment to fostering a sense of unity and well-being within our community.

"Healing Hands" is not just about providing a relaxing massage; it's about recognizing the importance of self-care and promoting overall well-being. We understand that black and brown communities often face unique challenges and stressors, and we aim to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can find solace and rejuvenation. By offering this opportunity, we hope to contribute to the physical, mental, and emotional wellness of these community members, helping them thrive and shine in their daily lives.

Terms and Conditions for Sponsor Nominee Submissions:  

1. Eligibility: The sponsor must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to participate in this wellness plan. The nominee must be a black or brown community member residing in the DMV are. Sponsors are not permitted to self-nominate.

2. Nominee Submission: Sponsors may submit one nominee per submission form for consideration. Each submission must include a one to two paragraph response explaining why the nominated individual deserves and can benefit from a free massage. The response must be based on factual information.

3. Monthly Submissions: Sponsors are allowed to make up to 5 submissions per month. Each submission must be unique and for a different nominee. Duplicate or repetitive submissions will not be considered.

4. Verification and Availability: Sponsors must agree to be available for verification purposes in the event that their nominee is selected. This may include providing additional information or documentation to confirm the details provided in the submission.

5. Raffle Entry: Sponsors have the option to be entered into a raffle to receive a free service alongside the nominee they have submitted. Participation in the raffle is not mandatory and will not affect the consideration of the nominee's eligibility.

6. Factual Accuracy: Sponsors must confirm that the details provided in their submission are factual to the best of their knowledge. Any misrepresentation or submission of false information may lead to disqualification.

7. Selection Process: The selection of deserving nominees will be at the sole discretion of the wellness plan organizer(s). The decision will be based on the information provided in the sponsor's submission, and the nominee's eligibility.

8. Privacy: All personal information collected during the submission process will be treated with strict confidentiality. The information will only be used for the purpose of evaluating and selecting deserving nominees.

9. Amendments: HandWritten Massage and Wellness and the wellness organizer(s) reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.


By submitting a nominee, the sponsor acknowledges and agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.
