Thank you for your interest in being part of a Navarre First Assembly of God mission team!  We believe that a short-term mission trip is an amazing way to deepen your faith while practicing the Great Commission and honoring Christ through your work.  

    There are many factors to consider when volunteering to go with a mission team.  We want to ensure that when you are selected for a team, you are well matched for the demands of the trip, the work required, the leader you are serving under, and the team you are going with.  We also want to give you ample time to consider the commitments that you will be asked to make before agreeing to go on a particular trip.  

    The requirements of a trip will vary depending on the location and nature of the mission being taken.  Generally, we want to prepare you with a few ideas about what will be required of you when you undertake a trip.
 
    1. Completion of all required paperwork, including applications, insurance documents, passports, etc. in a timely manner.  

    2. Adherence to all requests, deadlines, and communication from your trip team leader.  Excellent communication and cooperation skills between you and your leader and team is important to developing a good mission outcome.

    3. A financial commitment (which may be $500 for a domestic mission or $5000 for an international trip and will cover your travel, room, board & incidentals).

    4. A time commitment not only for the trip itself (usually between 5 and 14 days), but also in attending all planning meetings, fundraiser events, and study time as directed by your trip leader.

    5.  Health screenings and required vaccinations prior to travel.  This is to ensure that the trip location will meet your physical needs, will not cause undo danger to you or the team, and aligns with both US and in-country health recommendations.  

    6. Completion of the Missions Reference Questionnaire. This form will remain on file for the Missions Committee and your trip team leader to review.

    Your trip leader, missions committee, and church staff will carefully consider each person interested in a trip.  We ask that you turn in the attached forms to the church office.
