This form is to e-gather folks in the Takoma Park MD area who support community-built public art.

This form is intended to gather more youth leaders of all ages in all wards (and artists, and others willing to help out). Youth and/or their grown-ups can reply*. Response to this survey means we can email you occasionally with updates.

Should TkPkers be able to plan their own temporary movement/art projects? Can we change policy around community "placemaking" (community inclusion and art) projects in Takoma Park?

Could the future hold design events and painting parties in all six TkPk wards to bring together Kids and Artists and Safe Routes and Movement advocates?

Given the 16 year voting age here in MontCo, we're focusing on changing municipal policies in Takoma Park MD, but hopefully the project will also include youth and painting in Takoma D.C.

We MIGHT be able/interested in the following:

Policy: Council/mayoral meetings, permission & funding for youth-driven pilots

"Host" a movement sidewalk (mix of public/private property)

Painting days/art/sidewalk creation (any ward)

Artist who would like to work on movement sidewalk designs or advise a community mural plan

Kids who can suggest movement-oriented sidewalk elements (also include in "other" below)

Free the Trees: English Ivy eradication & turning cut trunks into park play/climbing structures

Contributing to data tracking, re: TkPk Climate Plan and Safe Routes To School
