MLK Day of Service Volunteer Registration
MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. 
United Way of Wayne County is putting together two community projects for this Day of Service
1. Bookmark-making where volunteers will make handmade bookmarks that will be given to new library card holders. Bookmarks will be for children, youth, or adults.
2.Message in a Pill Bottle-where volunteers will hand write messages and place them in a empty prescription bottles. The messages will go to selected senior homes and hospital. 
***Minor volunteers are required to return a Volunteer Liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian***
