• Call to schedule an Orientation with the R‐STEM office. An orientation must be completed prior to being considered for enrollment• Fill out the following R‐STEM Enrollment Application. • No acceptance letters will be mailed prior to April 19th, 2024 (in case we have to hold a lottery in accordance to law and our school charter).• R‐STEM’s 24-25 lottery will fall on April 8th at 3:00 pm for all applicants who do not have priority. Per our Charter, applicants will have priority if they fall under one of the following: o Parent or guardian of applicant is an employee of Redding STEM Academy o Sibling(s) of admitted or attending student(s). Sibling priority may not be exercised by student applicants who have previously attended and subsequently transferred to another school. o Applicant was on the 24-25 waitlist and filled out a 2024-2025 before the March 25th deadline.• Kindergarten students that are accepted, will receive a packet for our Kinder Launch.Acceptance letters for 1st-8th will be sent out as we know how many spaces are available in said class.
• All application packets that are received after March 25th will be placed at the end of the waitlist. (After the lottery, foster students, students of siblings enrolled and students who have had a STEM school background will have preference on the waitlist.)
• Students that are on the waitlist will be notified when/if a seat becomes available. Once notified, parent(s)/guardian(s) have one week to accept R‐STEM’s enrollment. If R‐STEM does not receive a response within the week the applicant will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.
• After being accepted students will need to provide a copy of immunizations, birth certificate, last report card and if applicable a copy of the student's IEP or 504.
