Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor for the 5 week course, Afghan Women's Circle. Elena's Light, WJCI, JCC Mid Westchester, and UJA are proudly sponsoring the project.
We will be covering topics such as driving, healthcare, parenting, how to get a job, and more! After the completion of these 5 sessions, participants will be assigned a 1-on-1 mentor.
The expectation will be up for a period of 6 months, with one meeting per week, on zoom or in-person or hybrid.
There will be one monthly meeting for mentors to communicate with each other and a small report to fill out for the heads of this program so they can keep up with your mentee's progress.
