About Us

Pick Me Up Poetry seeks to be an institution of change in society by championing the poetry in everything! To date, we have published over 14 700 poems, amounting to 921 poetry anthologies, by +6 806 authors from every era- worldwide.

Our aim is to leverage poetry to help drive conversations around pressing issues in our communities such as Mental Health Awareness, Stigma and Identity.

We have a growing community of over 28 000 Facebook followers, 4 700 Instagram followers and + 6 000 writers and performers in our Facebook writing group just like you and we want to introduce them to your work!

How many poems can I submit?- You may enter as many poems as you like as long as you like, how ever each submission only accepts 3 poems at a time.

Where do I submit my poems?- We have conveniently provided a space for you to paste your poems in the capture box below! Please be mindful of formatting and spacing.

PS: Each poem should be clearly titled!

How will I know once my submission was successful?- We'll be in touch via the email address you provided above. We can’t promise to respond to inquiries regarding the status of submissions therefore, if we have not responded to your submission within six (6) months, assume that your entry was not successful.
