IEEE Student Branch University of Melbourne is organizing a talk on "Implantable brain–computer interfaces to improve functional independence in patients with severe paralysis."
This talk will cover a broad range of topics in the field of brain-computer interfacing (BCI) such as a
i) Introduction to Brain-Computer Interfacing (BCI)
ii) Challenges in the state-of-the-art implementation of BCI
iii) Improving lost function for movement and speech
iv) Standardization of BCI Technology
This is going to be a 45 min presentation followed by a 15 min Q&A session.
