Acts Sunday Classes - Fall 2020 Registration
Here are the two classes being offered this semester:

SEEK FIRST
How the Kingdom of God Changes Everything This class will be taught using a book written by Jeremy Treat, which puts the true meaning of seeking first the Kingdom of God into a proper perspective. Treat shows that it's not just about prioritizing the Kingdom over everything else in our lives, but that it is actually the framework around which all other things in our lives ought to be formed. In other words, truly seeking God's Kingdom is not about doing some tasks or exerting effort into some activity or cause over other less “godly” endeavors, but it is engaging in those endeavors in light of the Kingdom.  Please sign up to join David Kim in tackling this important topic.

ESSENTIALS OF PRAYER
Jesus prayed constantly - in the morning, in the evening, and on some occasions - all night.  As a church, we endeavor to become the house of prayer.  Join Carol Lee in learning together the essentials of prayer from EM Bounds, one of the greatest saint and prayer warriors of the past century.
Here is a quote by Dr. Bounds: “What the church needs today is not more and better machinery, not new organizations or more innovative methods, but men whom the Holy Spirit can use- men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Spirit does not flow through methods but through men. He does not show up on machinery but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men- men of prayer.”
Everyone will download the free book onto their Kindle, Essentials of Prayer by EM Bounds, through Amazon, and read carefully two chapters weekly with the aid of questions before meeting up through Zoom.  Please have the first two chapters read before the first class.
