D. A. Hurd Library - Accessible Greenhouse
We are working to improve accessibility at our library and realize we will benefit from community input and involvement.

We are thrilled to receive an American Library Association - Libraries Transforming Communities - Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant-2.  This grant will allow us to add a wheelchair accessible greenhouse to expand our library's Sensory Garden.

To ensure we are best supporting our patrons with disabilities, we are asking for suggestions as we plan to implement the greenhouse.  The phrase " Nothing About Us Without Us" by disability rights activists highlights the need for full and authentic engagement with all members of the community.

We appreciate your time and consideration on how to improve accessibility (related to addition of the greenhouse.)

You are welcome to respond to these questions for yourself (if an adult) or on behalf of children as appropriate.
