Teaching Artist: Rachel Hamdan
Dance instructor, Rachel Hamdan has been dancing, singing and acting in school and community productions since the age of 6. She graduated from Stockton University in 2013 with degrees in Dance and Psychology and worked as an early childhood educator for the years following until becoming a mother of two young boys. Rachel teaches ballet, modern, tap and jazz at two Hudson Valley dance studios to children of all ages and abilities.

Dates: Thursday, October 14th; Weekly on Thursday’s

Time: 4:00-5:00pm

Program Length: 8 weeks

Description: In Elementary Lyrical Dance we will learn technical elements from ballet, jazz and modern techniques and use them to stretch and strengthen our bodies. We will then use steps from these movement practices to interpret popular music and create our own dance routines.

Fee: $160 for residents and non-residents
