AVID is an elective program designed to prepare students for challenging coursework in a college preparatory path for admission to four-year colleges and universities.  Students will be selected for the program based on their appropriateness for the program as determined by grades, test scores, teacher recommendations, personal interview and the completion of this application.

As an AVID student you will be required to maintain an organizational system (binder or Google classroom) for your notes, earn As, Bs, and Cs in all classes by studying and completing all of your assignments, always put forth your best effort, and be a role model in the school.  This means discipline should not be a problem.  Are you willing to follow these guidelines? *
