PNW has been been the hub of many health and life sciences (HLS) startups. And, we are hoping to expand the Health and Life Sciences Angel scene in the PNW to continue accelerating innovation and the HLS community.
As such, we are gauging individuals' interest in Angel investing and interviewing individuals to learn more about how individuals are interested in engaging, including through a Health and Life Sciences Angel Conference.
Health and Life Sciences Angel Conference Overview:
New or experienced Angel investors will go through 8-10 week experience to familiarize individuals with Angel investing. Each investor pitches in ~$6,000 to be pooled into a fund that will be awarded to a start-up selected by the Angels. Leveraging the Seattle Angel Conference model which has been producing successful angel investors over the last decade, Angel investors we would propose an 8-10 week development conference experience. By working together as an Angel investor group, we learn about habits and techniques that make Health and Life Sciences Company Angel Investors more effective. Using a research-based process, new Angels will explore Company Selection, Due Diligence, and Investment Portfolio Construction.
