Wheel New Yorkers aims to smash stereotypes, create connections, and push change.

If you are a wheelchair user connected to New York City, whether its working, living, studying, or regularly visiting (or planning on doing so), you can be a Wheel New Yorker! All ages, genders, sexualities, disabilities, races, cultures are welcome. Wheel New Yorkers also values supporters of Members - our friends, family, and partners; businesses and services that support us and our needs; wheelchair users outside of NYC.

You can be a Member if you are a wheelchair user with a connection to New York City (living, working, studying in or nearby), or a Supporter if you are not a wheelchair user connected to New York City but are interested in or support our community, e.g. parents or spouses of Members, wheelchair users from outside of NYC, you have a business or service that relates to Members.

Joining Wheel New Yorkers gives you the opportunity to have your project, initiative, business, content, media appearances etc listed on the Wheel New Yorkers website under 'What our members do', and/or featured on social media; hear about upcoming Wheel New Yorkers events; connect with other members and supporters; find out about products, services, events.
