The Capital District Youth Football League is adding a girls flag division this year for girls entering 5/6th grade in Fall of 2024. practices will begin in august. Games are expected to start in September through October on Saturdays with time and locations tbd. Some away games expected to be played in the capital district region. home games at Bspa Middle School. Game play will be 7v7. All skill levels are welcomed. Flag football is a very fast pace and active competitive sport that emphasizes teamwork and communication. High school flag football is an official NYS high school, college, and olympic sport and this is a great way to introduce and develop girls interested in competing at the high school level.
Depending on the amount of interest BSCYF intends to submit 1 or more teams.
Cost will be $125 per player and includes jersey.
Coaches needed. Practices are 2x per week, 6p-730p on Monday and Wednesday(subject to change but final schedule will be posted mid june)
