Plan B Preference Survey-Ward Elementary
Parents and Guardians,

The Board of Education for WS/FCS adopted Plan B on October 1. This means the following:

· PK students will return to in-person learning on October 26. They will attend school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

· Grades K-3 students will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 2. They will attend school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

· Grades 4-5 students will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 16. They will attend schools in a two days a week cohort model either A Day-Monday and Tuesday or B Day-Thursday and Friday . The days your child will attend depends on their assigned cohort which will be sent to you soon.

Wednesdays will be designated as a asynchronous remote learn day. Simular to our current FLEX Fridays.

As a parent or guardian, you have options for your student.

· Option 1 – They can stay enrolled in Ward Elementary and attend in-person instruction on their assigned days.

· Option 2 – They can stay enrolled in Ward Elementary and stay in remote learning which means they will log in for instruction from home.

· Option 3 - They can enroll in Virtual Academy for synchronous instruction. This means they will no longer be enrolled Ward Elementary school. There is limited availability.

To plan for the safe return of our students, we ask that you inform us of your preference as we move into Plan B. Although we are ready for all our students using the models described above, knowing specifics will help us better plan for transitions and other logistics. Please check your preferred option below. We ask that you complete this survey for each of your children.

Please respond to this survey no later than Friday, October 9, 2020.
