Volunteer Interest Form
At Hardy G*rls Healthy Wom*n, we serve all girls and gender expansive youth in Maine and want our adult volunteers to reflect that population.

We use the asterisk in our name to address the gender binary. Gender is a social construct and for centuries its held onto a binary (boys & girls) system. HGHW does not believe in the binary, but knows the deep history of systemic sexism and transphobia has uniquely harmed self-identifying girls and gender expansive folks. This is who we work with.

As consistently learning intersectional feminists, we welcome and celebrate folks across all identities, abilities, races, ethnicities, religions, economic statuses and sexual orientations.

We like to laugh, care for each other, cause a ruckus, and do the work.
We want to get to know you (in whatever you feel comfortable sharing). Our organization and programming is strongest when we hear from many perspectives and life experiences.

Development/Fundraising/Resources : As a volunteer, we ask folks to be ambassadors of HGHW. This means asking other folks to participate and support in ways that work for them. We don't expect everyone to have a lot of money to give! Please rate yourself in these areas.
