MCMI 2023 Virtual Summer Institute Application to Present
We are excitedly preparing for our 2023 Virtual Summer Institute and invite you to submit a proposal to present a session. The institute will be held via Zoom on August 2nd and 3rd.

Our theme this year is Number Sense: The Road to Fluency, and choice sessions will be 90 minutes long.

Possible session topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Routines and instructional practices that position students for success

  • Strategies for making deep connections

  • Problems and contexts students love that promote learning

  • Using formative assessment strategies to support student access and agency

  • Norms and habits that promote perseverance 

  • Routines and norms that develop fluency across grade levels

This form will close on Wednesday, April 26th, at 11:59PM. The MCMI team will review applications, and you will be notified of acceptance by Monday, May 1, 2023. If your proposal is accepted, you will have until June 30 to develop your session with support from MCMI staff.
