2020 Boise River Planting near Willow Lane Athletic Complex
We will not be gathering to plant these seedlings.  Martha Brabec and the Americorp will be plant them for us.

Help the City of Boise restore critical wildlife habitat by planting 1,000 native shrubs along the Boise River. The Boise River riparian zone is home to and a transit route for wildlife and birds who depend on this area for food and shelter. Enhancement of native shrubs helps reduce invasive plant species, maintain natural ecological processes, sustain air and water resources, and contribute to the health and quality of life in our community.

Planting will be by hand and please bring a shovel and gloves for each member of your group. Some equipment will be provided as needed. Seedling planting will involve hiking, packing equipment, digging, kneeling, and bending over to plant. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather! Wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water bottle. Restrooms are available in the park.
