David Game Liverpool/Steven Gerrard Scholarship
A Level and University Foundation Programme Scholarships

David Game College Liverpool is teaming up with Steven Gerrard Foundation to offer two full scholarships to gifted and talented students looking to pursue their academic career in a unique, supportive environment.  

Key points

- Each scholarship is worth £25,000 over two years
- Applications are open to students aged 16*- 18 years old
- Scholarship recipients must commence their studies in September 2022
- A Level choice combination must be the following 3 subjects: Biology, Psychology and Sociology
- Student must be a Merseyside resident
- Applications should be accompanied by a nomination from the student’s school with a supporting statement, the student’s latest school report and rationale for application including a statement of how the student meets the eligibility criteria
- Applications must be received by 17:00 Friday 19 August 2022
 
The Award

The scholarship will be open to two students in the 2022/23 academic year and will cover tuition fees for 3 two-year A Level courses (Biology, Psychology and Sociology).  

Applicants must be eligible for the courses offered by David Game College Liverpool linked to the award, including holding any visas or other entry/residence conditions required to be able to undertake those courses. Whilst David Game College and Lila* can provide advice and guidance to students with regards to visa requirements, with the exception of ‘Tier 4’ visas, it is the student’s responsibility to apply for and be in receipt of the requisite visa. Being offered a Scholarship does not guarantee that any visa application/s will be successful.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy ALL of the following to be considered for this scholarship:

1. Permanently reside in Merseyside. Merseyside consists of the following 5 metropolitan areas: Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton, Wirral and the city of Liverpool

AND

2. Have accepted an offer of a place at David Game College Liverpool to study A Level Biology, Sociology and Psychology to commence study in the 2022-2023 academic year starting in September 2022
