Performing arts ecosystem: balances and relations amidst the pandemic
The pandemic reality has had a strong impact on the relationships within the performing arts ecosystem: it revealed and deepened inequalities that already existed. In some countries, support measures were intended to even those inequalities and support the most vulnerable players. However, in others, the gaps have only widened.

New ways of producing work and bringing it to the audiences are changing the balances and interdependencies between artists and institutions, between small and big players, and among various occupations along the creative value chain. Different models of resource sharing and practicing solidarity are emerging.

What new insights and practices should be brought along to the post-pandemic future? What models practiced today can become part of the “new normal” and help the sector to reorganise itself in a more sustainable and fair way?

We are preparing a report aimed at answering those questions and imagining the best possible way for our sector to emerge from the crisis. We need your first-hand experiences and examples of how you have been experiencing the new reality and what, in your opinion, should be the lessons learnt and the conclusions drawn.

Note that you don't have to answer all questions; any insight shared is extremely important for us.
