Marching Band is truly a team sport.  Every member of the team plays the entire game.  NO ONE SITS ON THE BENCH.  One of the most important aspects of having a successful team is regular attendance.  Each member of the team must make attending all rehearsals a high priority.  Marching Band is not a  complete team unless everyone is on the field.  If you have a conflict, it is necessary to communicate with the directors as early as possible to ensure that the correct action can take place so the team will not be affected by the absence.
