Founded in 2010 and approved for non-profit 501(c)3 status in 2014, CHAA Hurricanes Booster Club, Inc. is a non-profit charitable 501(c)3 fundraising and outreach community sports program for middle & high school student-athletes, who are home-educated, attend a charter or private school without access to an athletic program, but want the opportunity to play sports, receive varsity letters and earn potential college scholarships. CHAA is built around the ideals of unity, character, and honor.
CHAA provides these sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, football, golf & cheerleading to student-athletes. States have a physical education requirement for high school graduates and CHAA allows these students to meet this educational requirement. Athletics ensure a healthy lifestyle, increase personal drive and confidence, and create a sense of pride. CHAA is the abbreviation for Coastal Homeschool Athletic Association. CHAA is a 100% volunteer organization with a heart for student-athletes. CHAA depends on fundraisers and donations to continue this outreach athletic program and meet the needs of our student-athletes, who if CHAA didn't exist, wouldn't have the opportunity to play & thrive in athletics during their middle and high school years.
