Practices for Maverick will be Monday and Wednesdays in Kitchener Waterloo at Kiwanis Park. The expectation is that each player commits to attending practices twice a week, as well as the tournaments to help improve their personal skills and their chemistry with the team. Please let us know if this will be an issue and we will do our best to accommodate.

Maverick will be introducing a practice roster, to help potential players hone their skills and develop while challenging our rostered players. In events of low tournament numbers, practice rostered players may be called up to participate in a tournament with Maverick.

Tournaments are also TBD as covid continues to require everyone to be flexible. If OUC runs this year we will be participating. Our usual tournament schedule is one per month May-August for a potential of up to 5 tournaments. So Far tournaments we know of are:
May 14-15, Toronto Ultimate Exhibition, Toronto
June 10-11, Montreal Jazzfest, Montreal
July 9-10, Ontario Ultimate Championships, Ottawa
July 16th-17th, No Borders, Ottawa
August 18th-21st, Canadian Ultimate Championship, Brampton

The TUX tournament is happening the weekend right after our last tryout on Wednesday. We may use TUX to make final roster decisions. It is important you let us know if you will not be able to make TUX.

Tryout Dates and Locations are as follows:
May 7, 2022- 10am-1pm
May 11, 2022- 5:30pm-7:30pm
-both will be at Waterloo Collegiate Institute at 300 Hazel St, Waterloo

The tryout fee is a flat $15 dollar fee. Please EMT the fee to contact@academyultimate.com. You NEED to pay before stepping on the field. Please let us know if there is any need for accommodations in this regard.
