Payment of your invoice and email receipt also acts as confirmation of your booking.

Terms and Conditions/Rules & Regulations:
• This is a rental of a Sign Gypsies of Hammond yard greeting. Greetings rentals are for about 24 hours.
• If this greeting is a gift, then an adult in the home MUST be notified of our upcoming arrival and of ALL policies & procedures.
• We will not change the set up location address when we arrive. We will on set the greeting at the address stated on the invoice. A request for changes to set up address must be submitted by email and agreed upon no less than 3 days in advance.
• Changes to requested set up date must be submitted by email and agreed upon at least 5 days in advance. Accommodations will be made only if there is availability on the newly requested date.
• We will only set in a yard or location that is a minimum 20 feet back from the edge of the street.
• We will NOT set a greeting in a yard or ground area full of rocks, construction debris, tree roots, etc.
• WATER THE LAWN multiple times in the days before your scheduled set up and soak the lawn thoroughly the night before. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF GROUND IS TOO HARD TO INSTALL. ONLY 15 MINUTES OF TIME IS GIVEN PER YARD for the installation process.
• There must be a prior agreement of where the greeting will be placed BEFORE we arrive. Be sure that specific area is receiving the watering. Changes to area agreed upon and noted on invoice must be submitted by email and agreed upon no later than 48 hours in advance. If no agreement has been discussed, then we will place the greeting in a place most suitable to the home & landscape and the greatest ease of install.
• SCOOP THE POOP! We will not set up in a yard that has lots of animal poop. No refunds will be given.
• Lawn care MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE we install the greeting. A $100 cleaning fee will be automatically charged to you if it is evident that yard work has been done around greeting set up. In addition, replacement costs will be automatically billed to you for any graphic damaged by or stained by lawn care. We will not set signs when yard work is being done. *IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ALERT VENUE OR HOMEOWNER OF THIS POLICY.
• DO NOT allow anyone to touch or play on or around the sign display. Our items will not safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it.
• DO NOT remove any graphic to take photos with it.
• DO NOT attach balloons or any other decorations to signs. Balloons deflate and can melt or stick onto letters & graphics causing damage.
• DO NOT add any items to the display. This includes college signs, FATHEADS, personal signs you have had made, etc.
• DO NOT use bubble machines, smoke machines, smoke bombs, fireworks, chalk cloud products, grills, bonfires, etc. around, near, with, in the vicinity of set up at any time.
• DO NOT REMOVE our signs from your lawn for ANY reason. DO NOT ALLOW event helpers or groundskeepers to take down signs at any time for any reason. If the greeting needs to be taken down early, let us know via text and we will take care of it. An unauthorized removal fee of $100 will be automatically charged to you if we arrive at time of pick up and see signs have been taken down early.
• DO NOT remove ad sign. Ad signs indicate ownership of our property and act as a trademark on our work. Missing, removed or damaged ad signs will be subject to a $45 replacement fee.
• DO NOT MOVE signs once they have been set. There will be a $100 fee automatically charged to you if signs are moved after placement in addition to replacement costs of any graphic or stake damaged when moving signs.
• Sign Gypsies and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the duration of the setup or removal of any sign rental.
• All signs are property of Sign Gypsies of Hammond. The purchaser of this rental service is responsible for ANY theft or damage caused to signs during the duration of the set up. Examples: damage by animals, fireworks, fire; use of sprinkler systems, lawn equipment, water guns, water balloons, silly string; any mischief or general misuse.
• We will not be able to deliver if there is lightning or hazardous weather, including high wind speeds. You will be notified of a delayed arrival time of greeting or a refund or credit for a future greeting will be issued.
• Early removal of signs by Sign Gypsies of Hammond may be necessary if inclement weather develops while signs are in place.
• Morning greeting deliveries are between 6-11am unless otherwise specified. We do not guarantee a specific delivery time. Delivery routes are scheduled in a geographic manner.
• Indoor set ups or any set up using our special boards or photo stands are subject to the same rules and regulations.
• All specially donated set ups are subject to the same rules and regulations and are the responsibility of the party to which the set up was donated.
REFUND POLICY on Graduation Greeting Bookings UPDATED November 1, 2023.
- As of March 1, 2025, graduation greeting bookings & payments become NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions.
Hold Harmless Agreement
Customer agrees to protect, defend, indemnify Sign Gypsies of Hammond and hold its officers, employees and agents free and harmless from and against any and all losses, penalties, damages, settlements, costs, charges, professional fees, or other expenses or liabilities of every kind and character arising out of or relating to any and all claims, liens, demands, obligations, actions, proceedings or causes of action of every kind and character in connection with or arising directly or indirectly out of the Sign Gypsies of Hammond rental agreement and/or the performance thereof. Customer further agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for any such claims, etc., at his sole expense and agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if it (claims, etc.) is groundless, false or fraudulent. Agreement is in effect for the duration of the rental process as defined by the effective dates of the rental agreement.
