2024 H.S. Guide -in-Training  Application -- Camp Wildcraft 
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: 

Working as a Camp Wildcraft High School GIT (Guide-in-Training) is a volunteer position for students entering 9 through 12th grade who love nature, the arts and working with children.  The valued role of Camp Wildcraft ‘s GITs is to help our camp realize its mission of “growing creative, curious, confident & caring kids who feel at home in nature.”

Camp Wildcraft provides 35 weekly hours of community service for each week of GIT service, if needed. Prospective GITS should read about the role and expectations below and complete this short application (students NOT parents should complete the application).  We will follow up with an email and set a time for a Zoom interview. Our GITs support our team and have a great experience by:
Bringing their strengths, interests and skills to Camp Wildcraft each day.
•.Leading fun activities with the campers.
Assisting with setting up and organizing camp activities.
Being a caring and attentive friend and guide for our Wildcrafters.
Having fun participating in all of our art and nature activities.

What we expect:
Two week minimum commitment so our campers can really get to know you.
Being a good role model for our campers.
Good communication with the staff team.
Whole-hearted participation.

Camp hours for GITs are 8:30 to 3:30 each day, Monday through Friday.
