Come and learn about the opera that will be performed by the Goshen College music and theater students. The opera "Orfeo ed Euridice" will be performed video-streamed on March 26 and 27 - but before you stream the production, learn about the history of this opera, the plot, and the unique process that brings this opera to the stage. Mystery, love, trust, grief, fleeting happiness, and the power of music rolled into one Italian Opera what more could you want? Join Marcia and special guests as we delve into the realm of Greek mythology.

Instructor's Bio
Marcia Yost is the Director of the Arts: Engagement and Outreach at Goshen College. She is retired from an outstanding career in music education where her passion for music helped to build a highly recognized music
education program for the Goshen Community Schools. Her current position at Goshen College
includes working with the arts programs at Goshen College to create further engagement in the community and region through what GC has to offer in arts education and performance opportunities. Her work includes establishing Goshen College as a hub for Music for Social Change, as well as increasing GC partnerships with arts organizations throughout the area. Marcia also teaches music education at Goshen College.  She serves in various capacities in community arts including on the Goshen Theater Board of Directors.
