Visualizing Anti-Asian Racism (during Covid-19)
Macroaggression: Anti-Asian Violence During COVID-19 will use augmented reality (AR) to provide an interactive experience with real-world environments. Students will be involved in creating AR projects to visualize data, statistics, and reports related to the rising anti-Asian violence during the pandemic.

Selected students will be given opportunities to learn to work with immersive media technology and participate in the research process, while actively participating in the development of the <Microaggression> project. Students and investigators will engage in research on anti-Asian violence during COVID-19, gathering and analyzing a wide variety media articles and empirical studies. *Students do not need prior experience or training in filmmaking or AR.
