WHAT: A few hour virtual retreat for incoming students (first year and transfer students) interested in learning more about UVA and meeting other multicultural students. This is a great way to meet the Multicultural Student Services staff, hear about opportunities at the University, and, most importantly, build bonds with other incoming students.

WHEN: Saturday, September 12th from 12 pm - 3 pm

WHERE: Zoom

WHO: You! We are seeking a diverse representation from all the cultural communities MSS serves: APIDA (Asian/Pacific Islander/Desi American), Hispanic/Latinx, Middle Eastern, Native/Aboriginal, and LGBTQ+. We will follow up with a confirmation email by September September 11th to those who are selected for the retreat. Regardless of attendance at the retreat, everyone is encouraged to explore the MSS student centers (the MSC, the LGBTQ Center, the LSC, and the IFSC) - We will have plenty of programs, resources, and opportunities to connect with other students at the start of the year!

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THIS INTEREST FORM: Spots still remain - register by 11:59pm on September 10th! You will be notified regarding your participation on September 11th. Please let us know at any point if you can no longer attend so that we can notify any participants on the waiting list.
